We hope you're enjoying summer just as much as we are! One of the best parts of bike commuting around this lovely city is all the stops you get to make along the way. In PDX, you could throw a rock and hit multiple watering holes in any given neighborhood, but why throw rocks when you can just take our word for it. Our shop is located in inner SE (23rd Ave & Clinton St.) and since we want you to get the most out of biking this summer, we've complied a handy guide for your Portland Summer Patio tour starting in Inner SE.

In no particular order, here is a list of 5 Inner SE Patios we suggest to pedaling to.

APEX

1216 SE Division St., PDX, OR 97202

Apex is a neighborhood legend when it comes to their enormous patio. Their open door policy to dogs, food, and bike parking make enjoying their beers that much more rad. With a rotation of over 50 taps at any given time, it'd be a summer bummer not to U-lock up with them.

Apex Bike Score: 91

WHITE OWL SOCIAL CLUB

1305 SE 8th Ave, PDX, OR 97214

White Owl Social Club, where quality food & drink meets nightlife & one of Portland's largest outdoor fire pits. Their patio is consistently being voted in the top-notch of local rankings and we couldn't agree more. Check out their events calendar, grab a grip of your friends, hop on your rides, and enjoy the rest of your evening at one of the coolest spots in town.

White Owl Social Club Bike Score: 100

ROADSIDE ATTRACTION

1000 SE 12th Ave, PDX, OR 97214

Roadside Attraction is one of those 'blink and you'll miss it' type of places. With large vines covering tall shed like patio walls, it's hard to tell from the outside if this is a hoarder's home or a magical bar. It's the latter. Lock your bike under some fairytale vines, grab the cash out of your pack and enter Roadside's trinket ridden saw dusted patio, you'll be there for a while.

Roadside Attraction Bike Score: 98

CASCADE BREWING BARREL HOUSE

939 SE Belmont St., PDX, OR 97214

Cascade Brewing Barrel House isn't your average brewery. CBBH is putting it's stamp on tart, barrel- aged beers in the NW and doing a pretty darn good job at it! "Our brewery currently houses more than 750 French oak, Kentucky Bourbon and Northwest wine barrels filled with wheats, blonds, quads, reds, browns and porters..." blah blah, what!? Amazing! If you enjoy unique provisions (including 18 rotating sour taps) pedal on down! With a cute 'lil patio located directly across from the infamous goat lot, how could you deny yourself this treat?

Cascade Brewing Barrel House Bike Score: 100

CARTOPIA FOOD CARTS

12th and Hawthorne Blvd., PDX, OR 97214

What's that saying, "All good things must come to an end" or is it "urban sprawl"? Either way you cut it Portland, you have until October 2014 to enjoy this community staple of late night cheap eats. Food cart culture has put this city on the map, GRAB YOUR BIKE AND GO TO CARTOPIA FOR A BURRITO, PULLBOY, PIZZA, OR ANYTHING FROM POTATO CHAMPION, NOW, BEFORE YOU CAN'T. After October, instead of a late night social gathering spot where at any given night you can spot famous musicians, artists, comedians, or local hula-hooping friends sitting patio style with delicious eats... you'll find super hip brick and mortar apartments. *sigh*

Cartopia Food Carts Bike Score: 97

So there it is! Our top picks. Go fourth and please always enjoy this city responsibly!
